Slip Away

Dreary, cool colours dampen this piece, creating a melancholic scene. The figure seems to shy away from the light and the majority of the scene. While carving in the areas of light, I used an opaque colour to punch through the watery, purple background, creating a contrast between intense light and vague shadow.
