When approaching this piece, I worked in a watery consistency to create the loose translucent marks. The figure appears to be emerging from the background carved out by these watery layers. The drips blend and overlap, giving the impression of melting.

The paintings for sale are unstretched. Meaning they are not mounted to traditional stretcher bars. This is for the convenience of shipping. Some of Jordan's works have extra fabric that can accommodate stretcher bars, which is noted in the description. Other works are made to asymmetrical shapes, or to the edges of the canvas. Potential display methods could also include framing or hanging as is. Jordan prefers the as-is look, as it gives the piece a raw and authentic look.
